Immah and Shantelle Meta

Immah and Shantelle Meta were married in August 2022. They serve together at the Sifa Collective ministry, which ministers to marginalized women through entrepreneurship skills and discipleship.

Immah was born in Kilimanjaro and raised partly in Kilimanjaro and partly in Dar es Salaam. He received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the Institute of Accountancy Arusha. Before coming to work with Sifa Collective as an accountant, he worked with Compassion International in Partnership with the Lutheran church. Their main objective was to help children out of poverty through a holistic approach to child development by blending physical, social, economic, and spiritual care altogether.

Shantelle moved to Tanzania in 2012 and co-founded Sifa Collective with Steph Boon and Beth Calmes in 2013. She is passionate about seeing young women's lives transformed by the Gospel. She has recently completed her Master’s in Counseling and has a passion and desire to see the love of God transform people's lives through counseling.

Some things the Meta's enjoy doing together are taking road trips and exploring new cities, relaxing by the ocean, or going swimming. The Meta's thank God for how great He is to their lives.
